    I currently research on anti-TB natural products from marine and terrestrial plants. In the assays to determine the efficacy of pure compounds, we use both redox-active enzyme assay and Mtb whole cell inhibition assay. Furthermore, I work on antidiabetes and anticholesterol compounds from plants. To obtain results we use animal models to screen the efficacy of both extracts and pure compounds for their antidiabetes and anti-cholesterol activity.
