The TDR Committee on Pathogenesis and Applied Genomics (PAG) met in September 2002 in Bangkok, Thailand recommended TDR funding of two South-South projects. The two projects listed below were selected from among a large number of applications received from investigators worldwide, and will be funded for one year in the first instance. If satisfactory progress is made in the first year, funding for an additional year will be awarded provided that sufficient funds are available.
