New South-South collaboration grants in pathogenesis and applied genomics

These multicenter grants will be funded for one year in the first instance, and for an additional year if sufficient progress is made in the first year toward reaching the scientific objectives, and if sufficient funds are available. A two week training workshop on the use of non-human primate models for research in tropical diseases will be funded as a joint effort with other agencies in order to enhance applications of the models in research and development of new interventions.
